Modules
The workshop is separated into five modules, which will each consist of theoretical and practical components focusing on specific examples in GIS. Students must apply for each module they wish to attend. We recommend to apply for all five modules, but we will accommodate those interested in individual module(s). Click on a module title below for more information.
While the modules are intended for UBC graduate students, we will provide a maximum of 5 seats in each module for participants who are either students outside UBC or not students. Contact us for more information.
NOTE: We strongly advise individuals with no prior coding experience in R, or GIS experience, to apply for the introduction module. We can make arrangements to provide lecture notes from the introduction module for those that are unable to attend due to other time commitments (e.g., classes, TAing, conferences).
